Sometimes a little challenge is the best way to incorporate some new habits into our life. 

AND. Destroy some of those ridiculous myths surrounding exercise. 

When it comes to fitness and exercise there are a ton of myths that hold people back. 

MYTHS

Myth #1 – You need to go to a gym 

Myth #2 – You need to dedicate an hour to working out or it isn’t even worth it

Myth #3 – You need fitness equipment 

Myth #4 – You have to be ‘good’ at exercise 

TRUTHS

Truth #1 – Gyms were a nice [failed] experiment 

Truth #2 – Short bouts of exercise are just as effective (sometimes more effective!) than longer workouts

Truth #3 – Your body is everything you need 

Truth #4 – You just need to move

Each week for four weeks we will bust through these myths. I will not just explain to you why they are myths – the challenge itself will PROVE that these are truly untrue aspects of fitness. 

Because you know I love explaining things as much as I love showing you how things really work!!!!

How about we do a little challenge to prove all of this??!! 

30 days. 

10 minutes of exercise per day. 

No equipment. 

No gym. 

What do you have to do? 

Each day for 30 days you will do a 10 minute workout. 2 minutes of warm-up then 8 minutes of exercise. 

Uh huh. 

That’s it. 

You don’t need any equipment and you can do all of the exercises in your living room, garage, bathroom, hallway, basement, porch, bedroom….whatever is available to you!!!! 

You can wear fancy workout clothes, you can wear your work clothes, you can do it naked. Just as long as you are comfortable and not breaking any laws…

Proving it – the Tests

  1. Bodyweight Squats
  2. Pushups
  3. Plank

On day one you will record your total number of squats you can do, total pushups, and how long you can hold a plank. DON’T WORRY if you can’t do these exercises at all or if you think you are not good at them – that doesn’t matter! I will teach you if you can’t and they will get better as we train!

You will not test these again!!!!! 

On day 30 we will repeat the test exercises and you will see that 10 minutes a day will have DRAMATIC effects on your fitness!

You are going to be SHOCKED by the changes in 30 days with such a seemingly small amount of exercise!

The holiday season is upon us and most people totally let their health and fitness go, awaiting the miraculous ‘New Year’ to ‘get back to it.’ 

This year I will show you that it is possible to IMPROVE your health and fitness in 10 minutes a day DURING the busiest time of year.
